New evening courses on offer in Clonmel

The Institute of Professional Training in Clonmel, in conjunction with the Ennis Business College have announced that they are to commence a number of new Fetac level five and six courses.

Commencing in March, the courses which include human resources, business administration and psychology, amongst others, will allow successful candidates achieve credits for their certification and to use these credits as a progression route to further their studies. The organisation’s mission statement is to ensure student success by employing very highly qualified staff who work with students in a co-operative atmosphere that gets the students motivated to learn. Small class sizes guarantees each learner the best opportunity to make progress in their study.

All courses are suitable for school-leavers and mature adults and can provide you with the skills needed for your future. FETAC level 5 course equates to Leaving Cert honours. By doing a FETAC course and investing in yourself it encourages other educational establishments to invest in you as it proves that you have the necessary skills to continue your education such as presentation skills, time management, report writing and project management.

Career choice and selection of the right course is a huge decision and part of the service offered will be helping people with their career pathway or up-skilling.

Certified courses include Management Development & Leadership Level 6, Business Management Level 6, Train the Trainer and Assessment Practice Level 6, Human Resources Management Level 5, Business Administration Skills Level 5, Manual & Computerised Accounts Level 5, Manual & Computerised Payroll Level 5, Applied Psychology Level 5, Journalism, Health & Safety, and Care of the Older Person Level 5. Funding maybe available from the Department of Social Protection.
