Tipp families urged to nominate carers for annual awards
the Carers Association is urging Tipperary families and carers to recognise the sterling work of their local carers by nominating them for the Carers of the Year Award for 2012.

The call from the Law Reform Commission on the Government to set up a register of professional home carers to protect vulnerable people requiring care from abuse and mistreatment, has been welcomed by the Carers Association which has also called on Government for such regulation.
